Almost There!

As most of you know, we are so close to being done with the house. We are living there now, although we still have some projects to finish up. Our computer is not hooked up just yet, we are still trying to get our phones hooked up, and I've been installing the hardwood flooring myself. Matt was pretty impressed by his handy wife! Shae starts football in a few weeks, and Brady is anxious to pick out new stuff for school. Hard to believe we have less than 4 weeks of summer left! We are going to try to pack a few fun things in for the boys to do before school starts again. Thanks for checking in!

Our Professional Painters

Shae and Brady had fun helping paint. Matt let the boys paint their names and ages on the wall behind where the kitchen cabinets will be. They also helped paint the inside of all the closets. We had a fun day together. Can't wait until we can sit and relax in the new place though. Also, the front room, almost done, just have the drop left to paint in here.

More views of the house

Here are some more pictures of the house, as you can see we are close to being done with the outside. Still waiting on our well though, maybe this week. Now we just have to finish the inside. These picture were taken on Father's day, we spent the day there painting.

Update to the House

Front of house, upper window is the bonus room, we still have the front porch left to side, but the rest of the house is done (yeah!) Matt has been working so hard, we have the countdown going now, less than one month.

More Golfing Photos

Finally got my camera to unload, here are a few more photos of the boys at their golf lessons. Shae and Sam (best friends) and Brady with his new set of clubs. They looked so cute. They have one more lesson this Thursday.

Golf Lessons!

Yes, we decided we were not busy enough, with one month and counting until we have to be out of our rental house, I thought we might throw in a few golf lessons for the boys just for good measure. They did really well though, had a ton of fun but now they want to know why they can't go golfing every day (They still have so much to learn) Had trouble with the camera though, could only get these few photos off. Matt is rocking the house out, we will be painting this Father's Day weekend. It's really coming along, we can't wait to sit and enjoy it.

Shae's Class Photo 2017

Shae's 2nd grade class had a field trip to the Sand Dunes on June 5th. They created their graduating year on the side of the Dune, it's a little hard to see though. 2017 (Yikes!) It will be here before we know it though. Shae is in the front of the zero in the white t-shirt and black shorts.

Family Portrait

We tried to take this ourselves at Easter. My sister Kristy is coming up this summer to take an actual portrait. She has her own photography studio in Davison in their house. It will be our first actual family portrait!

Sweet Girl

Here is our niece Merrick. She and Matt's sister Marcy were home for a visit early in May. She is six months old today! Miss them terribly, but it was great to see them both. Hopefully next time, Jason will be able to get the time off to come with.

Now that I've got the hang of this, I can't stop!! Shae with his Pa (my Dad), such handsome men! Shae's 2nd grade spring musical, he was an Italian Pizza Chef, and Brady hanging out at Papa's (Matt's Dad) playing pool. Too much fun.

Here is a quick glance into the world of Brady. He picked out this fancy outfit for Mother's day so he would look special for me. OOh Baby! Then there is Shae today at school with his "friend" Alexis. They had a party in class today, so I was able to join them for a few minutes after Brady's field trip to Moomers Ice Cream Shop and Dairy Farm.

Our New House!

Here are a few photos of our new house. The insulation was installed today and we are expecting drywall tomorrow. We are all so ready for things to be done now. Matt has been working full time and building our house on the side.

Shae took snowboarding lessons this winter. He did so awesome. We hope to take both he and Brady to breckenridge next year to continue.

Seeing all of your blogs (Marcy, Kara, Kacey), I thought we would give it a try too! Just to keep everyone up to date on our latest. No babies on the way for us, but we do have a new house under way, and looking forward to getting that completed. Shae and Brady are doing really well in school, Shae was interviewed by 9 & 10 news today at school for ACES (All Children Exercise Simultaneously), we'll see if he makes the cut! Hope to learn to post photos soon!
